2006 HAAS Mini Mill with HA5CB, 2x Kurt Vises, and 7 tool holders. This machine was installed new in March of 2006, in our shop. It has been a great machine for us.

I recently replaced the exhaust fan in the head, along with the tool release piston solenoid. The X-axis ball screw is loud, and has been for several years now, due to a manufacturing defect from Haas.

We had a technician out to do some work on the machine, and found out that the oil line that was supposed to be connected to the ball nut was laying on the casting. The technician hooked it back up, however, the machine spent its first 9+ years running without it. Nevertheless, while it is loud, it still holds size well, and machines without issues.

It runs great, but needs seals. Having a full 5-axis machine, along with swiss screw machines capable of doing their own second ops, we haven't used it in probably a year and a half, maybe longer. Both are pictured in the machine. In the pictures, there are 2 tool racks pictured on the back of the machine, only 1 will stay with the machine. The other we will keep. The rigid tapping option is turned on, and the machine has 16MB memory and a floppy drive.
